Anna Olson was recently hired as the department’s first victim services coordinator. She meets with domestic violence victims and helps them get the help they need, making sure they are safe and guiding them through a system that is unfamiliar to many of them.

Walla Walla Police investigating arson after shed fire on July 13
WALLA WALLA, Wash.-The Walla Walla Fire Department is investigating a shed fire on July 13 as arson. Firefighters from Walla Walla Fire Station 1 responded to a burning shed behind a home at 612 S. 12th Avenue around 4:27 a.m. and found a 12-by-20 foot shed burning, according to a WWFD press release.
