Laurens County Coroner identifies deceased in Upstate deadly crash
LAURENS COUNTY, S.C. — The Laurens County Coroner's Office has released the identity of a person who died in a single-vehicle crash. Chief Deputy Coroner Patti Cannup of the Laurens County Coroner's Office and Deputy Coroner Ashley Rushton responded to the Warrior Creek Church Road and Lincoln Road area in Gray Court, South Carolina to a single-vehicle crash that happened before 11 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2.

Two charged after officers seize over 1,000 fentanyl pills in Greenwood
GREENWOOD, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Greenwood Police Department said officers recently took two people into custody following a series of searches in the city. Officers said they served multiple search warrants on June 29 at locations along South University Street, Independence Way, Birchtree Drive and Montgomery Street. Officers stated that during the searches, they seized 1,083 Fentanyl pills, three firearms, a kilogram of pill binder, methamphetamine, and 4400 dollars.
