Walhalla Utilities Director Leaves for Position with Westminster
Walhalla’s utilities director Scott Parris has resigned after over 20 years, following a tense city council meeting about the utility department’s struggles, and will join Westminster as utilities director. Westminster city administrator Kevin Bronson reached out to Parris after hearing about the meeting and offered him the position, which Parris accepted. Parris’ last day in Walhalla is July 8, and he starts in Westminster on July 9 with a salary of $90,000.
