For 55 years, Vance-Granville Community College has served the citizens of Vance, Granville, Franklin, and Warren counties. As one of 58 institutions in the North Carolina Community College System, we are the local source for higher education and training for the communities we serve. Thousands of students have enrolled in over 40 curriculum programs and worked towards various certificates, diplomas, and degrees. We’ve also provided continuing education programs for our community and helped local high school students get a step ahead in their college education by enrolling in early college courses here at VGCC. We have impacted the lives of thousands and, in doing so, have helped create a better community.

Ridgeway Cantaloupe Festival and 5k planned for July 13
A tradition of celebrating the summer melon that made a Warren County community famous continues this year with the Ridgeway Cantaloupe 5k and Festival on Saturday, July 13. The 5k will begin at 7 a.m. and will be followed by the festival, running from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. The festival site is located at 660 US Hwy. 1/158, Ridgeway.
