WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – A man reported to police that his home was burglarized at gunpoint when a former tenant came to his door.

According to a police report, officers were called about 2 a.m. Wednesday to an apartment on Parkman Rd NW on reports of a burglary.

The victim told officers that a former tenant along with another man and a woman came to his door and the former tenant asked to use the victim’s cellphone, to which the victim said no.

The former tenant then told the victim that he could have sex with the woman if the victim let him use his cellphone, again the victim said no, according to a police report.

At that time, the other man who was with the former tenant pulled out a gun, pointed it at the victim and told him to sit down while the woman and the former tenant took a 55-inch flatscreen TV and walked out, the report stated.

Before the suspect with the gun left, he took the victim’s cellphone, the report stated.

All three left in the same vehicle, according to the victim.

Police are reviewing surveillance video. The incident is under investigation.
