WARREN, Pa. – The Zonta Club of Warren announced its 2024 scholarship recipients. “Each year in the spring Warren Zonta accepts applications from anyone with ties to Warren County, PA who is pursuing an educational goal,” Zonta said in a release. “Thanks to fundraising and contributions from our members, we are able to award several scholarships each year, each up to $1,000 we will pay the recipient directly to be used for tuition or otherwise support their education.”

Jamestown Man Charged After Domestic Incident, Struggle with Officers
A Jamestown man is facing a number of charges after an investigation into a domestic incident Sunday evening. Jamestown Police responded to an address on the city's south side at about 8:45 PM and discovered that 38-year-old Felix Rodriguez-Gomez allegedly violated an order of protection to stay away from the victim. Rodriguez-Gomez then allegedly tried to flee from officers, but was taken into custody after a brief struggle. He was also allegedly found to be in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine, a digital scale, and plastic bags commonly used for packaging controlled substances. Rodriguez-Gomez was held pending arraignment on a felony count of 1st-degree criminal contempt, along with one count of 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia, and one count of resisting arrest.
