Teen arrested for stabbing in Fort Edward
FORT EDWARD, N.Y. (WRGB) — A 16-year-old male was arrested on Thursday in connection with a stabbing incident that involved another youth. According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office, the incident occurred on Broadway in Fort Edward, where a young male, whose name will not be released due to his age, stabbed another 16-year-old male, causing physical injury.

Indian Creek Conservation Field Days – St. Lawrence County. On June 4 and 6, ECOs participated in the Indian Creek Conservation Field Days at the Indian Creek Nature Center in the town of Canton. Approximately 300 fifth grade students from St. Lawrence County attended each day. ECOs gave a 20-minute presentation to each class on the duties of an Environmental Conservation Police Officer and their critical role in safeguarding New York’s environment and the public.
Granville inmate charged with assaulting fellow detainee in Washington County Jail
GRANVILLE, N.Y. (WRGB) — A Granville inmate was arrested on Tuesday and accused of assaulting another inmate in Washington County Jail (399 Broadway, Fort Edward). Nicole M. Rosado, 33, is charged with 2nd-degree Assault and is scheduled to appear in Fort Edward Town Court at a later date.

HUDSON FALLS – A Hudson Falls man was arrested for welfare fraud for allegedly receiving more than $1,000 in benefits he should not have. Jaquob A. Bushey, 24, was arrested last week for fourth-degree grand larceny, a class E felony, as well as fourth-degree welfare fraud, a class E felony.
Summer Youth Employment Program to provide children free lunches
