The Washington Wizards made a second trade up on Wednesday, swapping their No. 26 pick to New York for the Knicks’ No. 24 pick and selecting Miami wing Kyshawn George.

As part of the deal, the Wizards will also send Thursday’s No. 51 pick to New York.

George, 20, played junior ball in his native Switzerland and France before coming to Miami last season. The 6-foot-8 wing played in 31 games (with 16 starts) as a freshman and averaged 7.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in 23.0 minutes per game.

The Wizards added George, No. 14 pick Bub Carrington, and No.
2 pick Alex Sarr on Wednesday, and do not have a second-round pick as of now after this deal.
