    DC police: Missing 5-month-old baby found safely, man in custody

    WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said that a 5-month-old boy was found in good health after he was reported missing on Wednesday.

    In a post at 2:20 p.m., MPD said that 5-month-old Rajah Leonard was reported missing from the 6000 block of 16th St. NW.

    MPD had deployed K-9 units and a police helicopter to assist in the search.

    In an update around 5:55 p.m., MPD said that Rajah was found safely.

    When Rajah went missing, MPD said that he may be with 27-year-old Ramon Leonard. In their update, police said that Leonard was in custody.
