New Uniqlo location holding grand opening at Pentagon City with tons of giveaways for shoppers

ARLINGTON, Va. ( DC News Now ) — Uniqlo is holding its grand opening in Pentagon City Friday and there will be tons of giveaways through Sunday for shoppers.

A new Uniqlo location is opening its doors on Aug. 2 at 10 a.m. in the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City, located at 1100 S Hayes St. The shop will be located on the lower level near Macy’s.

The list of giveaways will include:

• Free Uniqlo U crew neck for shoppers who place an online order by Sunday and pick it up in stores between Aug. 2 to Aug. 25.
• Mini handheld fan for shoppers who buy $99 or more in merchandise through Sunday.
• Free knot bag filled with goodies for the first 100 shoppers in line through Sunday.
• Free ITO EN tea and Saku Saku Flakerie’s baked goods for the first 250 shoppers in line through Sunday.
• Free personalized manga style portrait for Uniqlo app members only from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Friday through Sunday.
• Free MOLTN cookie from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Friday through Sunday.

The grand opening will also include a special Taiko drum performance starting at 9:50 a.m. on Friday along with other additional performances.

From Friday, Aug. 2 through Thursday, Aug. 8, there will be offers exclusive to the Uniqlo at Pentagon City.
