WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — From health products to tech at home and in your hands, companies have recently settled lawsuits for millions of dollars, and consumers can receive some of the money available as those cases close.

Three class action settlements have deadlines quickly approaching:

Anyone, including medical facilities, who bought a recalled Philips CPAP, BIPaP or ventilator can cash in on them .

According to the website created for consumers to file a settlement claim, Philips has “agreed to pay a minimum of $445 million to compensate eligible Users for Device Payment Awards and Device Return Awards.”

Eligible consumers have until August 9 to file a claim , and reward amounts range from $56 to $1,500, depending on the device purchased.

Sports website Bleacher Report settled for $4.8 million after allegedly sharing account holders’ personally identifiable information with Facebook without consent between January 2021 and this May.

Payments will reportedly depend on how many people submit a claim , and consumers can submit one by August 23.

Bosch will pay up to $2 million in a settlement fund after microwaves allegedly suffered defective control panels , causing images to fade and fail.

According to a website created to accept claims , you can file a claim by Sept. 3 and get reimbursed up to $400.00 or receive a three-year extended service plan.

Class action settlements are technically not admissions of guilt by the companies involved.
