Man accused in shooting death of 18-year-old in Peoria’s East Bluff ordered detained
PEORIA, Ill. – A petition to detain a man accused in the shooting death of 18-year-old MikeQuese Taylor was granted by a Peoria County judge at a detention hearing Monday. The Peoria County State’s Attorney’s Office says 18-year-old Korion Hopkins is charged with First Degree Murder in connection to the April 30th shooting in the East Bluff. He will remain in jail until his trial.
