Dayton nonprofit lands $500,000 toward expansion
DAYTON, Ohio (Dayton Business Journal) -- A local nonprofit has received $500,000 from the state, and it plans to use it for facility renovations and expansion. East End Community Services (EECS), established in 1998, is using the funds it has received to renovate its East End Whole Family Services Hub facility. The renovations will add approximately 17,500 square feet to the space at 624 Xenia Ave. in Dayton. According to the EECS website and previous DBJ reporting, this will include the addition of a second floor and the expansion of the first floor.
