WATCH LIVE: Harris and Biden deliver remarks in Maryland

President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are delivering remarks in Largo, Maryland , at 1:30 pm ET.

The in-person remarks come after the Biden administration announced historic price negotiations between Medicare and pharmaceutical companies cutting the prices of 10 costly or common medications taken by millions of older Americans.

While this is not an official campaign event from the Harris campaign, this is the first time that Biden and Harris have been on a joint trip together since he exited the presidential race.

The Harris campaign announced earlier that Biden would be deployed "strategically" to states he won in 2020 and to campaign stops with voting demographics he does well with, like older voters.
