In the post-race press conference from Washougal, RedBull KTM Factory Racings' Tom Vialle shared insights into his weekend performance and the impact of a recent hand injury. Despite a solid finish with 1-2 moto scores for second overall, Vialle was candid about the challenges he faced leading up to the race.

Reflecting on his performance, Vialle noted, "It was a good day, but I’m not really happy with finishing second in the second moto." He revealed that his hand injury during practice the previous week had affected his preparation. "On Wednesday, I hurt my hand badly, and I couldn't train all week," he explained. "I was a bit scared for the weekend, but thankfully, it got better. I felt pretty good in the first moto and managed to ride through the pain."

Vialle’s resilience was evident as he discussed his strategy for the day's motos. "In the first moto, I had a good flow, and I felt strong on the track," he said. "However, in the second moto, I didn’t have the same rhythm. Haiden (Deegan) was riding well, and I made a few mistakes."

In the face of these hurdles, Vialle remained optimistic. "My hand was not really painful by the end of the day, so I’m relieved about that. I’ll use the upcoming break to recover and prepare for the next races," he concluded.

Despite the hand injury, Vialle reclaims second place in the 250MX Pro Motocross Championship points at Washougal, having come into the weekend sitting third.
