FORT WORTH, Texas — At least one person was arrested overnight after robbery suspects kidnapped a Fort Worth girl and led officers on a chase, police said. The Fort Worth Police Department (FWPD) said two men entered a home at approximately 2:07 a.m. Friday in the 6700 block of Golden Grove Road, near Chisolm Trail and took a girl at gunpoint. Two vehicles were taken from the residence, police said.

A woman has been charged with manslaughter in a 23-year-old cold case in Texas involving a baby who was found dead on the side of a road. Shelby Stotts was arrested Monday after DNA evidence matched her as the baby's mother, the Texas attorney general’s office and the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement. The baby, dubbed "Angel Baby Doe," was found in November 2001 by a man collecting cans south of Fort Worth.
Fort Worth police seek community help identifying robbery and assault suspect
FORT WORTH, Texas — The Fort Worth Police Department is seeking the community’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for robbery and indecent assault. On Monday, June 17, around 9:50 p.m., the victim exited a store at 6416 Hulen Bend Blvd. The suspect, who had been waiting outside, approached the victim from behind, attempting to take their purse and bags, according to a press release from the department. Surveillance video shows the suspect entering the store, walking around, and trying to engage another female in conversation. The victim walked by the suspect at one point in the store. The suspect then exited the store and positioned himself to see inside. When the victim walked out, the suspect turned and made his assault.
