    Farragut baseball 3-peats

    MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WATE) — Farragut baseball clinched the program’s 13 state championship and third straight after defeating Nolensville 3-1.

    Cole Draper was given the start for the Admirals, and he delivered a masterpiece. The junior went all seven innings with three strikeouts and one earned run.

    The Ads scored all Draper would need in the first inning. The first run came courtesy of a passed ball that plated Lukas Buckner. Eli Evans brought in another run on a single into left field.

    Nolensville pulled within one, but Jake Merrick singled home Buckner to give Farragut a 3-1 advantage.

    Evans finished the day going a perfect 3-for-3 with an RBI. Jake Merrick went 2-for-3 with a RBI.
