    Investigation underway after shooting in Dandridge leaves 1 dead, 1 injured

    DANDRIDGE, Tenn. (WATE) — A shooting that left one person injured and another dead in Jefferson County is under investigation according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.

    On Saturday, August 17, at 8:04 p.m., Jefferson County Dispatch received a 911 call for a shooting on Daisy Way in Dandridge. Deputies found two people who had been shot at the scene.

    Johnathan Michael Williams, 47, was pronounced dead at the scene. A woman was transported to the University of Tennessee Medical Center for treatment.
