SEC announces Vol Basketball’s 2024-25 schedule

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — The Vols full SEC slate has been unveiled. The defending SEC regular season champions will open league play on Jan. 4 at home against John Calipari and the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Tennessee’s first SEC road contest will be against Florida on Jan. 7 or 8. Tennessee will then travel to Texas on Jan. 11.

Vol fans will certainly circle Jan. 28 and Feb. 11 or 12 on their calendars. Tennessee will welcome Kentucky’s new head coach Mark Pope to Food City Center on Jan. 28. UT will travel to Rupp in February.

The Orange & White have a massive matchup against Alabama, the team projected to win the SEC, on March 1. The Vols will close out the regular season with a contest against South Carolina on March 8.
