The intense summer heat and lack of rain have taken their toll on more than just the trees and lawns (brown unless you are watering). Driver involved in standoff after allegedly pointing weapon at Charleston police officer
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WCHS) — Charleston police launched an investigation Tuesday after a driver was accused of pointing a weapon at an officer in Kanawha City. The incident occurred as an officer was approached by a vehicle while processing a traffic violation along MacCorkle Avenue about 3:30 p.m., according to a news release from the Charleston Police Department.
