WATERLOO — Seven Waterloo art students have been selected to showcase their work at the 33rd Capitol Conference Art Show.

Pieces can be viewed at the Pyle Center in Madison until the closing reception on Sunday, April 28, which will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. with an awards presentation at 2:30 p.m.

“Students who are in the capitol conference and in art have the opportunity to have their work selected each year for the Capitol Conference Art Show, which is put on by the high school art teachers within the Capitol Conference. Eight pieces of art are selected from each school and are put on display, the art will be judged for an opportunity to win various prizes including best in show,” said Waterloo art teacher Theresa Habeck.

“Each one of these students and their art was selected based on their commitment to creating art, and work ethic within the art room. Each one of these students has worked hard, and deserves this high honor of representing Waterloo at the 33rd Capitol Conference Art show.”
