    Junior Golf: Shipshock competes for Team Wisconsin at Minnesota-Wisconsin Junior Cup Matches

    DeForest’s Abigail Henriksen and Waunakee’s Jordan Shipshock competed for Wisconsin in the 27th Annual Minnesota-Wisconsin Junior Cup Matches Thursday and Friday.

    Team Minnesota edged Team Wisconsin 18.5 to 17.5 at TPC Wisconsin in Madison.

    Amelia Morten, from Maple Grove, Minnesota, defeated Henrickson 4 & 2, while Shipshock tied Avery Bartels, of Oxbow, North Dakota.

    On the Junior Tour, at stop No. 27, Windsor’s Parker Bilderback finished second, shooting a 2-over-par 72, while Lodi’s Graysen Dunn tied for fifth, firing a 4-over-par 74. Windsor’s Dylan Bilderback shot a 10-over-par 80 to end up in a four-way tie for 12th. Lodi’s Walter Beld tied for 17th with a 12-over-par 82.

    DeForest’s Qwinton Cowen took part in the Bridgestone Future Tour stop on Friday, July 12, at Door Creek Golf Course in Cottage Grove. Cowen tied for ninth with a 6-over-par 36. Cowen also played at Fairfield Hills Golf Course in Baraboo on another Future Tour stop on Wednesday, July 10, tying for fifth with a 7-over-par 38.
