University of Nebraska acquires rare neutron monitor to enhance soil moisture readings
LINCOLN, Neb. — One of Nebraska's universities now has one of the only three devices in the country used in providing accurate soil moisture and hydrology measurements. On Tuesday, the University of Nebraska–Lincoln (UNL) announced that it has acquired a neutron monitor - making it the first state outside the East Coast to own one.

Two Local UNL College Students Receive Scholarships
The Nebraska Farm Bureau Foundation awarded ten scholarships to students enrolled in the Agricultural Education Teaching Program at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln (UNL).
