1 man dead after motorcycle crash in Virginia Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Virginia Beach police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash at the 700 block of General Booth Boulevard on Sunday evening, police said.

Police said around 8:44 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 700 block of General Booth Boulevard for reports of a motorcycle accident.

The driver of the motorcycle, later identified as 42-year-old Christopher Wright, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

The incident remains under investigation.
