SUNY Oneonta to help develop fire-safe battery technology
ALBANY, NY (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) — Governor Kathy Hochul announced on Wednesday, July 24 that a local college will be helping develop new innovations in battery technology. SUNY Oneonta will be one of two places in New York State to receive funding from the United States Department of Energy (DOE) for a long-duration energy storage project using fire-safe battery technology.
