Fort Worth forms $4 million deal to support UTA West campus
On Aug. 27, UTA received approval from Fort Worth to enter an interlocal agreement that would provide $4 million to develop the new UTA West campus. Pulling from its Economic Development Initiatives Fund, Fort Worth will provide UTA with one payment of $2 million dollars coming after the formal execution of the interlocal agreement. The other $2 million will serve as reimbursement after all infrastructure improvements have been completed.

Arcosa employees participated in the fifth annual company-wide United Way campaign by volunteering at Bonton Farms. Volunteers assisted with harvesting, pruning and washing 197 lbs of crops — a task that would have taken the farm team about a week, but only took a few hours with their help. DALLAS, Texas – HCU football dropped its season-opening game on Saturday night at Gerald J. Ford Stadium, falling to ACC newcomer SMU by a 59-7 final. HCU (0-1) opened the game on defense, forcing the Mustangs (2-0) into a quick three-and-out and forcing a punt. The Huskies picked up a pair of quick first downs before the drive stalled out at the HCU 45 leading to a Reed Chandley punt. SMU then scored on four consecutive drives and added another score on a fumble recovery to build a 35-0 lead.
