    IMAGES: FBI looking for suspected Park Ridge bank robber

    PARK RIDGE (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Authorities are asking for the public’s help in hopes of finding a suspected Park Ridge bank robber.

    According to the FBI Chicago Field Office, the suspect robbed the BMO Bank on Busse Highway near Western Avenue, shortly after 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 9.

    The suspect, a man between 20 to 30-years-old, entered the bank, took out a black semi-automatic gun and demanded money, the FBI said. He ran off after receiving the money.

    No one was hurt.

    The FBI describes the suspect as about 5’8’’ to 5’10’’, with medium build. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a zip-up hoodie, a black facemask, dark colored gloves and blue jeans. He had on black shoes with gray accents. He was carrying a dark colored backpack, the FBI said.
