    WATCH: Fire engulfs house near Jane Lew

    JANE LEW, W.Va. (WBOY) — A fire broke out at a house just outside of Jane Lew Tuesday night that required several crews to put out.

    According to an official with the Lewis County 911 Center, at around 9:10 p.m., crews were alerted to a structure fire on U.S. Route 19 just south of Jane Lew. Crews that arrived on the scene found a fully engulfed house and began work putting it out.

    911 officials said that crews were still on the scene around 10:25 p.m. and that there’s no word as to what caused it as of Tuesday evening. No injuries were reported.

    The Jane Lew Fire Department was in charge of the scene and was assisted by crews with the Weston Fire Department, the Jacksons Mill Volunteer Fire Department, Pricetown Volunteer Fire Department and the Lost Creek Volunteer Fire Department.
