$50K scratch-off ticket sold at Fairmont Walmart

WHITE HALL, W.Va. (WBOY) — A lottery ticket sold at Fairmont’s Walmart Supercenter last week was worth $50,000.

According to a post from the West Virginia Lottery , the winning ticket was a “SHREDDIN'” scratch-off purchased by Crystal S. It was sold at the Walmart fuel kiosk in White Hall on Friday, Aug. 23.

SHREDDIN’ tickets cost $5 and prizes range from $5 to $50,000. According to the West Virginia Lottery’s website, there are still two remaining top prizes for the game.

That same week, Rosemary F. won $30,000 from a scratch-off ticket purchased just one county away in Grafton . They are two of the largest lottery winnings in West Virginia this month, according to the WV Lottery’s winners page .
