    Driver taken to hospital after log truck rollover in Upshur County

    BUCKHANNON, W.Va. (WBOY) — An Upshur County road was closed for several hours Thursday morning after a log truck rolled into a ditch.

    According to a Facebook post by the Upshur County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the rollover accident at approximately 7 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29. The truck was on its side in the ditch on the side of Tallmansville Road, although the post did not say what part.

    The post said that the driver had to be taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon for medical attention and was transported by EMS.

    The road was closed for about two hours while emergency personnel were at the scene. Photos show that the Tallmansville Volunteer Fire Department was at the scene.
