Shapiro Administration launches voter education initiative

EYEWITNESS NEWS (WBRE/WYOU) — In preparation for the November 5 General Election, the Shapiro Administration launched a voter education initiative.

The initiative is reminding voters of key dates, like the last day you can register to vote, which is October 21.

Last year, the Shapiro Administration redesigned the format of mail-in ballots to make it easier for users to understand.

Officials say this initiative was aimed at helping young voters or first-time voters know what to expect when they head to cast their ballot.
