    Authorities arrest 2 men in January killing of 18-year-old in Darlington County

    FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — Two men accused in the killing of a Darlington County man in January were arrested Thursday morning in Florence, authorities said.

    Travine Coe and Travon Coe face charges of murder, criminal conspiracy and possession of a weapon during a violent crime, according to warrants provided to News13 by authorities.

    Eighteen-year-old Damon Jackson Jr. was shot and killed on Jan. 28 along Meadowbrook Drive off McIver Road, authorities said. Warrants indicate that he was shot in the neck and died at the scene at about 5:30 a.m.

    The Coes were arrested Thursday morning in the 2200 block of Oakwood Lane in Florence by members of the U.S. Marshals Service Carolinas Regional Fugitive Task Force and Florence County sheriff’s deputies.
