1 critically injured, 2 others hurt in shooting near Loris, police say

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — At least one person was critically injured Sunday evening in a shooting that also hurt two other people, Horry County police said.

It happened on Wright Road outside of Loris near the North Carolina border. Police were called to the area at about 6 p.m. and said there was no immediate threat to community members.

Two of the victim were taken to the hospital in personal vehicles, according to a police report. No additional details about the incident were immediately available.
