Four injured in two separate wrecks on North Carolina interstate Sunday morning, authorities say

CHARLOTTE ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — Four people are injured after two wrecks on I-277’s outer loop Sunday morning, Medic confirmed.

Around 6 a.m., Medic reported three people were transported with serious injuries from a wreck near mile marker 3.

Around 8:15 a.m., one person was transported with serious injuries from a crash near exit 1E. Queen City News was at that scene and saw a car that was flipped over.

Officials haven’t said what led up to either wreck or if any charges are pending.

According to NCDOT, both wrecks are now clear and are not impacting traffic associated with the Around the Crown 10K.
