COLUMBIA, S.C. (WCBD) – No one won Tuesday night’s Mega Millions jackpot, which means the drawing for Friday night rolls to an estimated $627 million.

But two lucky lottery players in South Carolina did wake up millionaires.

State lottery officials say a $2 million winning ticket was sold at a Quick Trip in Fort Mill, and a winning ticket worth $1 million was sold at a Food Lion in Longs.

Officials say both tickets matched all five white ball numbers that were drawn on Tuesday evening. The lottery player in Fort Mill added ‘Megaplier’ to double their prize from $1 million to $2 million.

    Those ticket numbers were: 16 – 18 – 21 – 54 – 65  Megaball: 5

“More than 16,000 players in South Carolina hold tickets for prizes from $2 up to $2 million,” said the South Carolina Education Lottery. “Players have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes.”

The odds of matching five white balls are 1 in 12,607,306.
