Paxton Main Street hosting four free concerts this summer

PAXTON, Ill. (WCIA) — Paxton Main Street is debuting their “First Fridays” Summer Concert Series, where free live music will be performed in downtown Paxton on the first Friday of each month.

First Fridays will be held on May 3, June 7, July 5 and Aug. 7. Each concert will take place on the front lawn of Veterans Square at 237 South Market Street, so attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets. Concert-goers will also be able to purchase concessions.

Performances will be moved indoors in the event of bad weather.

Officials from Paxton Main Street said to stay tuned for musical guest announcements in the near future.
