WATCH: Thieves burglarize gaming machines at DeWitt bar

DEWITT, Ill. (WCIA) — The DeWitt County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary at a video gaming corner of a bar earlier this week that was caught on surveillance video.

In the video posted by the Sheriff’s Office, two suspects wearing dark clothes cut the power at Country Store after midnight on Aug. 20. They then attacked a row of video gaming machines with crow bars and a hammer to try to break apart the gaming machines and take the money.

Within minutes, the suspects fled the scene.

The DeWitt County Sheriff’s Office asks that anyone with any information on the incident calls 217-935-3196.
