Watseka to start flushing hydrants

WATSEKA, Ill. (WCIA) — The city of Watseka is scheduled to start hydrant flushing this week.

The hydrant flushing will start Tuesday, and will last around two weeks.

Officials said on Facebook residents may experience water discoloration and/or low pressure. They advise running the cold water for 5-10 minutes and then the water should clear up and the pressure will return.
