    The Extra Point: GW Long vs. Dale County

    MIDLAND CITY, Ala. (WDHN) — Two wiregrass schools coming off a loss in week zero battled in Midland City Thursday night.

    Dale County welcomed in GW Long and got the offense going early.

    Dallas Hedstrom scored the Warrior’s first touchdown on a short run, then threw a touchdown to Cody Jaggars to increase the lead to 14-0.

    Long would get a score back on its next possession on a Preston Williams long touchdown run.

    In the end, Dale County comes out on top 34-14.
