Dayton-area home sales, prices see increase from 2023

DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — Home sales and prices were on the uptick during the month of February.

Single-family and condominium units were sold at a higher frequency and price point according to a release from Dayton Realtors.

The company pulled data from the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) and found that 1,096 units were sold last month. This is an increase of 23% when compared to Feb. 2023 statistics, which saw 886 units sold.

The average sales price for these units was $262,600, a 14% increase compared to last February. The trend continues as the Median Sales Price increased to $225,000.

As a result of this year’s data, the Cumulative Sales Volume ballooned to $287.8 million, a total increase of 41% compared to last year’s number.
