DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — The Dayton Recovery Plan is helping to bring more homes to the Wolf Creek area.

According to the City of Dayton, the Dayton Recovery Plan is continuing to invest into the community following a $1.5 million service agreement with County Corp.

This agreement — approved by the Dayton City Commission — sets in motion the construction of 5 owner-occupied homes to Wolf Creek and details the predevelopment and construction services in place to construct them.

The homes will be located on West First Street, West Second Street, and Grimes Street.

Any remaining funds will likely go towards the construction or improvement of neighborhood amenities, the specifics of which are not known at the time of this writing.

City Manager Shelley Dickstein is quoted in the press release identifying the importance of the investment.

“It is our role to seed investment, to help attract private sector participation,” Dickstein is quoted in the release. “We are very excited about this partnership.”
