DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — Summer is the perfect time to read, and local libraries programs are encouraging everyone to pick up a book, regardless of age.

Summer reading programs offer a way to track your books through the summer months, and also gives readers a chance to win prizes and partake in local events. Multiple Miami Valley libraries are offering programs for kids, teens and adults.
