Person injured after being hit on I-75

DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — First responders were on scene of a pedestrian strike on northbound I-75.

According to the Dayton Post of Ohio State Highway Patrol, troopers were sent to a section of northbound I-75 on reports of a person hit by a car. The incident happened just past OH-725 at mile marker 45.

The person was reportedly sent to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The call came in at 10:50 a.m. While crews were on scene, the right lane was blocked. Traffic has since begun to flow again.

Several agencies responded alongside OSP, including Miami Township personnel.
