Woman dead, another hospitalized after crash Sunday

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — After a crash Sunday night, one person is dead.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports that deputies were dispatched to the area of 7429 State Route 4 around 8:16 p.m. on report of the crash. At the scene deputies found two women injured.

The two were transported to an area hospital where one succumbed to injuries.

An initial investigation supports that a black Mercedes CLA 250 that was traveling northbound on State Route 4, veered off left of center in the area of 7429 State Route 4 and struck a Cadillac SRX traveling southbound on State Route 4.

The Traffic Services Unit of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the crash. Alcohol and, or drugs are considered to be suspected factors.
