Roxanne Perez is a huge part of NXT, with her currently being their Women’s Champion, and aged just 22, she has plenty of time before she needs to worry about being called up to the main roster. And now, indicating that her focus remains on WWE’s developmental brand despite her success, she has told Stephanie Chase during a recent interview that she is excited about getting the opportunity to work with recently recruited international talents Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer.

“I’m very excited for them to come over here, and I’m so ready. I’ve seen a lot of amazing matches from both of them, so I definitely think that they’re going to help elevate our division. Our division is already so stacked I feel like I can honestly say that we have the best women’s division in the world. So, especially getting two of the best women’s wrestlers from around the world joining our division, I think it’s going to be so good for us.”

Perez previously wrestled under the name Rok-C, having started training at the age of 13. From there, she began wrestling matches on the Texas independent scene in 2018, going on to get further training in association with Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling. Subsequently, she would catch the attention of Ring of Honor and would be booked to win their women’s championship in a tournament. However, when the promotion went on hiatus prior to Tony Khan purchasing it, she was released from her contract, opening the door for her to join WWE after briefly working for Impact Wrestling and MLW.
