When Bobby Lashley Will Officially Be A Free Agent

Three weeks ago, news broke that Bobby Lashley and his former Hurt Business stablemate MVP were no longer listed on WWE’s internal roster, indicating that the company no longer had plans for them. Subsequently, this would be confirmed when it was reported that both men’s contracts would be expiring in the coming weeks. And while it’s known MVP is already a free agent, Cory Hays has now confirmed on X that Lashley’s deal runs out at midnight on Friday.

48-year-old Lashley made his WWE debut in 2005 and was quickly presented as a star due to his impressive look and athleticism. However, he departed the company just three years later, with much speculation at the time as to why, with rumors of discrimination and unhappiness with his WrestleMania  23 payoff being the most persistent. Still, after working for TNA and building up a 15-2 MMA record, he returned to WWE in 2018 and memorable worked with the most prominent names in the company, including Roman Reigns, Goldberg, and Brock Lesnar.
