Despite being big names in the industry, Brian Knobbs and Jerry Sags, collectively known as The Nasty Boys, had to have a tryout match when they wanted to return to WWE in 2007. This match against Dave Taylor and very young Drew McIntyre would go on to become infamous due to the former WWE Tag Team Champions being out of shape, working stiff, and taking so long that it delayed the rest of the taping.

Therefore, the duo would end up not being re-signed, and reports of the match would become mythical online, with the expectation being that the match would sit in WWE archives for the rest of the time. However with WWE having opened a new YouTube channel specializing in more unique and rare footage, the match has finally been made public.

Having grown up together, Knobbs and Sags began their wrestling careers in 1985 via the AWA and joined WCW in 1990 before jumping to WWE later that year. This would see them achieve their career highlight at WrestleMania VII when they defeated The Hart Foundation for the WWF World Tag Team Championships.

Yet, while they seemingly had a bright future in the company, they departed in 1993 due to their unruly behavior outside the ring. Subsequently, they would return to WCW, where they won their tag championship three times, although due to Sags suffering a neck injury and him having an in-ring altercation with Scott Hall and Kevin Nash, their run at the top of the wrestling would end with a whimper.
