WEBB CITY, MO — Former Missouri Southern Quarterback TJ Fleeton is helping give back tot he community with a Quarterback camp and training program he has created called “QB Fleet”.

The camp took place today at Webb City High School and ran for the entire afternoon with different age groups in attendance.

The program is dedicated to training guys all over the Four States.

Fleeton had a successful career with the Lions and now he has taken it upon himself to be a quarterback trainer and coach.

The ages of the kids he works with range from the youth level up to the high school which includes many of our local high school quarterbacks in the area.

These athletes include; Cade Spiva (Neosho), Brady Carlton (Carthage), Dominic Leesman (Joplin), Brodie Probert (Seneca), Elam Beaman (Liberal), Gabe Johnson (Webb City) along with many others.

We caught up with Fleeton as well as Spiva and Probert about the camp.

Former MSSU Quarterback and owner of QB Fleet, TJ Fleeton said, “It’s a great process just seeing each other grow just as much as I’ve seen them grow. They’ve been able to see me grow and we’ve just been able to grow together and just be able to bond and just create that family. That’s what I feel. I would say QB family, but just to be QB Fleet, I’d be so cheesy about it”.

Neosho Senior Quarterback Cade Spiva said, “It’s been awesome. I’ve been with him since my freshman year, going into my freshman year, so I’ll be working with him for my fourth year now. He’s helped me so much. He’s got me into some camps and invited to some camps. I’ve been going to those and he’s helped me every step of the way, pretty much as I’ve been going through my quarterback journey”.

Seneca Junior Quarterback Brodie Probert said, “Well, you know, it’s great to have a guy like T.J. who has so much experience and you can just learn a lot from. And it’s great to come out here at this camp and just compete with other players from other schools that you’ve played against. And it’s just a great time”.
