Second teenager charged in connection to death of missing 15-year-old
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A second teenager has been charged in connection to the death of a Charlotte teen who was reported missing in September, police confirmed. Anthony Smith, 15, was reported missing by his family on Sept. 4. His body was found a week later in southwest Charlotte near Old Pineville Road. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police said Smith died from a gunshot wound.
Mark Robinson dismisses lawsuit over allegations of unpaid bills as 'completely baseless'
STANLY COUNTY, N.C. — North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson is facing a lawsuit from a polling data company that says he failed to pay a six-figure bill. Vox Insights, a company that provides polling data to political candidates, filed the lawsuit against Robinson, the Republican nominee for North Carolina governor. The lawsuit was filed on Monday in Stanly County Court.
