HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — The Gibson County Sheriff’s Office says they are looking for a man who cut off his ankle monitor and didn’t return from work release.

Officials say Joshua Whitehead cut off his ankle monitor while on work release on Friday afternoon.

We’re told the discarded ankle monitor was found with the help of a K9.

Authorities ask that the public be on the lookout for Whitehead, but do not approach him.

Anyone with information should call 911.
